American TV reported on Tuesday, citing several American officials, that according to new intelligence information received by the United States’ agencies, Israel is preparing to attack Iran s nuclear facilities.

 According to US officials, it is unclear whether Israeli leaders have made the final decision to attack Iranian nuclear facilities. The US National Security Council has not commented immediately on the matter. In addition, the Israeli Embassy in the United States and the Israeli Prime Minister s Office have   also not responded yet.

Earlier on Tuesday, Iran s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei expressed concern that nuclear talks with the United States were unlikely to yield any results. "I don t think nuclear talks with the U.S. will bring results. I don t know what will happen," Khamenei said, adding that Washington should avoid making "nonsense" demands in the negotiations, four rounds of which have been held.

It should be noted that there is an ongoing dispute between Iran and Western powers over the issue of uranium enrichment.

The United States and Western countries have long accused Iran of seeking to acquire nuclear weapons, while Iran has consistently claimed that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes only.
