Isfahan (Web Desk): US-Israeli forces struck military sites in Iran’s central Isfahan province with 2,000-pound bunker-buster bombs, raising fears of wider conflict.

Iran’s Fars News Agency quoted Akbar Salehi, a security official, saying preliminary checks show several “military sites” were hit. However, the exact locations, the extent of the damage, and any casualties have not been confirmed.

Isfahan is a key region for Iran’s defense, hosting major military bases like Badr Airbase, 8th Shekari Airbase, and the 4th Air Force base. The province also holds sensitive nuclear facilities, including Natanz, making it a high-risk target in the ongoing conflict.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the US specifically targeted a major ammunition depot, indicating a serious escalation in the scale and intensity of the attacks.

Meanwhile, the conflict is spreading across the region. The United Arab Emirates has reportedly faced one of the heaviest waves of Iranian attacks since the start of the war, raising fears of further regional spillover.
