Israeli aggression, Pakistan announces to stand with Iran

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk): Pakistan has announced its stand with Iran against Israeli aggression.

The Israeli attack on Iran was strongly condemned by the Pakistani leadership, including President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.

Asif Ali Zardari, in his message, condemned the Israeli attack on Iran and said that the Israeli attacks are a violation of Iran s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The attacks are against the United Nations Charter and international laws. I express my sympathy to the people of Iran for the loss of lives in the attack.

The President further said that the international community and the United Nations should hold the aggressor accountable and take immediate action to prevent the situation from worsening.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that I condemn the Israeli attack on Iran in the strongest terms and express solidarity with the Iranian people over the loss of human lives in the attack.

He said that Israel s attack on Iran is a very irresponsible and extremely worrying move. This completely irresponsible move by Israel will create further instability in a region that is already in danger.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif demanded that we urge the international community and the United Nations to take immediate steps to prevent any further escalation that could harm regional and global peace.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar said that Israel s unjustified attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran are highly condemnable. Israel s attack falls under the category of a blatant violation of Iran s sovereignty.

He said that this heinous act shook the foundations of international law as well as the conscience of humanity, severely harming regional stability and international security. Pakistan stands in solidarity with the government and people of Iran.

In addition, a statement issued by the Foreign Office said that Pakistan strongly condemns Israeli aggression against Iran, calling the Israeli attacks a violation of Iran s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Foreign Office spokesperson said that Pakistan stands with the Iranian people. Pakistan condemns Israeli provocations, which are a threat to the peace and stability of the entire region.

He said that the Israeli attacks are a violation of the UN Charter and international law, and that Iran has the right to defend itself under Article 51 of the UN Charter.

The spokesperson added that it is the responsibility of the international community and the United Nations to declare a ceasefire, for the international community and the United Nations to immediately stop the aggression, and for the international community and the United Nations to hold Israel accountable for this attack.
