KARACHI: (Suno News) A real estate conglomerate from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will invest $20-25 billion in Pakistan’s real estate sector, said a delegation of UAE-based Pakistani real estate companies.
“Investment from real estate companies from the UAE in the construction industry of Pakistan will bring prosperity to Pakistan,” Advisor to the Government of Pakistan on Overseas Pakistanis in Gulf countries Sardar Qaiser Hayat said.
“With the investment, Pakistanis will get international standard residential facilities,” he added.
He said that the Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD) had been assisting the government in formulating policies for the development of the construction industry.
ABAD Chairman Asif Sumsum welcomed the initiative, announcing full support for the investment for the economic development and prosperity of Pakistan.
“The investment from UAE companies will bring economic revolution to Pakistan,” he said and assured complete support to UAE realty groups to materialise their projects.
“Increasing urbanisation and population growth have created ideal opportunities for international real estate developers to undertake mass housing and construction projects in Pakistan,” the ABAD chairman pointed out.
