Two PIA flight attendants slip away in Toronto
KARACHI: (Suno News) Two Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight attendants Monday slipped away in Toronto, Canada.
According to the PIA spokesperson, the flight attendants, Khalid Afridi and Fida Hussain Shah, reached Toronto from Islamabad by flight PK-772.
However, on its scheduled return to the country, the two crew members did not turn up at Toronto Airport, and the PIA flight had to proceed without them.
The personal staff number of Fida Hussain Shah is 61,277 while that of Khalid Afridi is 60,744.
Strict action will be taken against the crew members after investigations are completed, the PIA spokesman said.
The local authorities in Toronto have also been contacted in this regard, he added.
It is to be noted here that dozens of air hostesses and flight attendants of the PIA have slipped away in foreign countries.
In July 2023, a PIA steward named Muntazir Mehdi went ‘missing’ from a hotel after his arrival in Toronto, Canada from Lahore.
Before Mehdi, four PIA flight stewards and air hostesses had slipped away in Canada.
