Instagram, a popular social media application among youth, will introduce new features. The app will allow users to create their profile photos with  the help of AI (Artificial Intelligence).

This new development is being under process, a report said.

The same feature might be introduced on Facebook and WhatsApp. Technology experts are of the view that this feature will not be exclusive to this app.

The users will generate their profile photos with the help of Instagram’s AI generation tool.

Whereas, other social media platforms, TikTok and Snapchat already offer similar feature. TikTok provides this option with the name of “Dreams” and Snapchat s “AI Avatar Creation” serves the same purpose. After introducing the new feature, Instagram will join the list of social media apps that offer users the ability to generate AI-created profile pictures without putting significant effort.
