With the help of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the Oil Companies Advisory Council (OCAC), the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has introduced a mobile application, named ‘Raahguzar.’

Using Geographic Information System (GIS) technology, the application will enable users to locate legal petrol pumps and outlets across Pakistan.

The ‘Raahguzar’ app is accessible to android users on the Google Play Store.

The app was launched as part of the move to expand the track-and-trace system. The purpose is to promote accountability, prevent financial losses, curb illicit activities, and enhance the oil industry’s integrity.

The launch of the ‘Raahguzar’ app will help law authorities in tackling the challenges posed by illegal petrol pumps. It assist them to remove illegal petrol stations which often cause damage to residential areas.

Besides, guiding the location to petrol stations, the app will show the current price for petrol and diesel fuel.
