Like Samsung, tech giant Apple is preparing to showcase several new products at its March 4 event. While the official invitation does not reveal details, industry reports suggest major updates across MacBooks, iPads and iPhones.
One of the biggest surprises could be a lower-cost 12-inch MacBook. Apple had discontinued this model earlier due to weak sales, but now it may return with a fresh design and a starting price of $599. The device is expected to use an A-series chip, likely the A18 Pro, instead of the powerful M-series processor. This could make it lighter, more energy efficient and affordable for students and everyday users.
For professional users, Apple may introduce new MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models powered by the M5 chip. The 14-inch MacBook Pro could feature M5 Pro and M5 Max variants for better speed and performance. Both 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models are also likely to receive the upgrade.
The 12th-generation iPad is also rumored to arrive with the A18 Pro chip, enabling advanced Apple Intelligence features. This could improve multitasking and creative work. Meanwhile, the iPad Air may move from the M3 chip to the M4 chip in both 11-inch and 13-inch versions.

Budget iPhone buyers may see the launch of the iPhone 17e, expected to start at $599 and powered by the A19 chip. It could serve as a more affordable entry into Apple’s ecosystem.
Apple’s strategy seems clear. It wants to target both budget and premium users at the same time. If prices stay competitive, these launches could attract a wide range of customers. But real impact will depend on performance and real-world value after release.
