SYBO Games and Kiloo, the developers behind the world-famous mobile game Subway Surfers, have revealed their long-awaited sequel, Subway Surfers City, set for release on February 26, 2026. It will debut on iOS and Android platforms with pre-registration now open on both App Store and Google Play.
The new title marks the franchise’s first full sequel after nearly 15 years of updates to the original endless runner game, one of the most-downloaded mobile titles in history with over 4.5 billion lifetime installs.

Rather than continuing the classic world tour format, the sequel brings players into a vibrant Subway City, a modern metropolis divided into four unique neighborhoods, such as The Docks, Southline, Sunrise Blvd, and Delorean Park.
Seasonal updates are expected to introduce new districts, characters, outfits, and hoverboards over time.
Subway Surfers City also adds fresh gameplay mechanics, including a stomp move and a bouncy bubblegum shield, alongside three distinct modes:
- Classic Endless, keeping the familiar high-score chase alive;
- City Tour, with mission-driven level progression;
- Events, featuring rotating challenges for advanced players.
