Forza Horizon 6 set to race into players’ hands on May 19, 2026

(Web Desk): Forza Horizon 6 has confirmed a May 19, 2026 release date for Xbox Series X|S and PC, with a later launch planned for PS5.

Racing fans have a concrete date to mark on their calendars as Forza Horizon 6 is officially scheduled to launch on May 19, 2026 for Xbox Series X|S and PC, developer Playground Games and publisher Xbox Game Studios have confirmed. Early access will begin May 15 for players who pre-order the Premium Edition.

The announcement came during a recent Xbox Developer Direct livestream. The team also revealed the game’s setting which is a sprawling open-world inspired by the diverse landscapes of Japan.

It includes urban districts; mountain passes and coastal highways. This will be franchise’s largest map in the series till date. For the first time, players can explore scenic routes, with more than 550 real-world cars at launch.

While the May 19 release applies to Xbox and PC platforms, PlayStation 5 players won’t be left out. A PS5 version is confirmed to arrive later in 2026, though a specific date has not yet been revealed.
