(Web Desk): Google has introduced an artificial intelligence (AI) tool called Gems for Workspace users that can be used for specific tasks.

Along with the Gemini app, this tool is part of the side panel of Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Gmail.

By the way, the side panel has been present in these services for a long time, but now Gems is being added. By going to the side panel, users will be able to customize their AI helper.

Google said in a blog post that you will be able to create a Gem Assistant based on your job that can provide more relevant summaries or create content for internal communications.

For example, you could create a Gem assistant that can help you create detailed reports based on statistics for a specific company or industry.

You can go to Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, or Gmail and click the Ask Gemini button.

After doing this, a side panel will open, containing preloaded gems, while the Create a Gem option will also be available.

By the way, this feature has started to be introduced, but you may not see it yet.

According to Google, this feature will be available to all Workspace users within 15 days.
