Tareen pledges to steer country out of crises if voted to power
MULTAN: (Web Desk) Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) patron-in-chief Jahangir Tareen has pledged to steer the country out of crises by strengthening the national economy.
Addressing the workers’ convention at NA-149 constituency in Multan, Tareen said that his party needed prayers along with votes for victory in the upcoming general elections.
He quoted PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif as saying, “We would jointly contest the elections in Multan.”
He asked the participants, “I will need your prayers too.”
He pledged to work for national unity to put the country on the path to prosperity. He said, “I will initiate 500 projects in five years.”
Separately addressing the election rally in NA-155 Lodhran constituency, Jahangir said that the people of Lodhran had made him victorious with the lead of 40,000 votes in the past. He requested the people to vote for his party in the upcoming elections too.
