Suno News team narrowly escapes armed clash between Hezbollah, Israeli army
BEIRUT: (Suno News) The Suno News team covering the Gaza war in Lebanon narrowly escaped an exchange of fire between Hezbollah and the Israeli army.
Suno News senior journalist Tariq Habib, along with his team, had reached Yarine village, an area bordering Israel in Lebanon, to attend and cover the funeral of a martyred Mujahid of Hezbollah, when the Israeli army started firing heavily.
Hezbollah gave a befitting response to the provocation by the Israeli army.
During the coverage, firing started from both sides. Hezbollah operatives helped the Suno News team reach a safe location.
It is to be noted here that Israel has set a record of terrible bombing in Gaza. The banned phosphorus bombs are also being used indiscriminately on Palestinians.
The Israeli army also bombed an ambulance convoy leaving Al-Shifa Hospital. Dozens of people including children and women were martyred in the attack.
The Israeli forces also targeted the Jabalia refugee camp. They bombarded the Al Breej camp, blew up a residential building in Shujaiyya, and left 10 people martyred in an attack on the Baitul Hayyah cemetery.
