LAHORE (Web Desk): The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has declared that the national hockey team will participate in the upcoming Hockey Asia Cup.

PHF Secretary Rana Mujahid confirmed Pakistan’s commitment to take part in the tournament, he told the media. The event is to be held in India from August 27 to September 7. However, will a hybrid model be adopted or will the team travel to India - this has not been confirmed by the PHF.

Due to the tense political relationships between Pakistan and India, questions regarding the practical implementation of the plan remain.
