(Web Desk): Lahore Qalandars beat Multan Sultans by 20 runs in a thrilling match as Multan fall short chasing 186, marking Qalandars’ second victory of PSL 11.

In a nail-biting encounter of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2026), the Lahore Qalandars secured a convincing 20-run victory over the Multan Sultans, registering their second win of the season.

Batting first, Lahore Qalandars set a competitive target of 186 runs. In response, Multan Sultans managed 165 runs for the loss of five wickets, falling short despite a strong chase.

Multan Sultans’ Chase Falls Short

Key contributions came from Ashton Turner, who scored 52 runs, while Shan Masood added 44. Arafat Minhas contributed 25 runs, and Sahibzada Farhan scored 24 runs. However, the team could not maintain momentum in the final overs, resulting in a defeat.

Lahore Qalandars Bowling Performance

The Qalandars’ bowling attack delivered a disciplined performance. Mustafizur Rahman took two crucial wickets, while Shaheen Shah Afridi, Sikandar Raza, and Ubaid-ur-Rehman claimed one wicket each to restrict the opposition.

With this victory, Lahore Qalandars strengthened their position in the tournament. Multan Sultans suffered their first loss of the season. Meanwhile, Karachi Kings continue to lead the standings with six points at the top of the table.
