The much-anticipated clash between the two archrivals is scheduled for November 16.
The tournament will run from November 14 to 23, featuring eight teams. The opening match will take place between Pakistan and Oman on November 14. The event will include five ‘A’ teams from Test-playing nations — Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan — along with the national teams of Hong Kong, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates.
According to the ACC, Group A consists of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, and Sri Lanka, while Group B features India, Oman, Pakistan, and the UAE. From November 14 to 19, two matches will be played each day. The semi-finals are set for November 21, and the final will be played on November 23.

Previously known as the “ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup,” this event has now been reintroduced in the T20 format. Since its inception in 2013, the tournament has been held six times. Pakistan and Sri Lanka have each won the title twice, while India and Afghanistan have claimed it once each.
The 2024 edition, hosted in Oman, saw Afghanistan defeat Sri Lanka by seven wickets to lift the trophy.
