David Warner, captain of Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League, has been charged in Australia over allegations of drink driving.
According to Australian media, Warner was stopped by police in the Sydney suburb of Maroubra. He had pulled over before reaching the testing point, but officers still conducted a breath test.
Reports said the breath test returned positive, after which police registered a case and took him into custody. He was later shifted to a local police station by the New South Wales Police.
Media reports also stated that Warner is scheduled to appear in court on May 7 to respond to the charges.
