According to sources, Shikhar Dhawan said that his stance on not playing the match against Pakistan is firm. The Pakistan-India semi-final is scheduled for tomorrow in Birmingham. If India withdraws from the semi-final, Pakistan will play the final.
It may be recalled that in the crucial match of the ongoing World Championship of Legends in England on Tuesday, the Indian champions defeated the West Indies champions to qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament. Batting first, the West Indies set the Indian Legends a target of 145 runs in the allotted 20 overs.

The important thing was that India had to complete this target within 14.1 overs so that they could qualify for the semi-finals on the basis of a better run rate. However, thanks to a brilliant half-century from Stuart Binny, India achieved the target in 13.2 overs for the loss of 5 wickets and also became the fourth and last team to reach the semi-finals. Earlier on Tuesday, champions Pakistan defeated champions Australia by 10 wickets to take first position on the points table. Australia and South Africa had already qualified for the semi-finals.
After India s win, the semi-final lineup is complete. Now, in the first semi-final of the event, the top team in the points table, Pakistan, and the fourth-placed India will face each other on July 31. The second semi-final of the event will be between South Africa and Australia on the same day.
It should be noted that earlier, the Pakistan-India match in the first round of the World Championship of Legends 2025 was canceled. Indian players refused to play the match against Pakistan.
