Leading the pack is veteran pacer Mohammad Amir, who will once again don the jersey of Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR). Amir, a key asset for TKR, has already played 39 CPL matches and taken 51 wickets. With TKR lacking a quality pace attack, Amir s presence will be crucial for their campaign this season.

Joining Amir at TKR is Usman Tariq, a promising spinner who impressed in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). This will be Tariq s first stint in the CPL, and he will look to make an impact alongside his experienced teammate.

Mohammad Nawaz, the experienced all-rounder, was set for his CPL debut. He was to represent the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. But now, he has opted out of CPL and fast bowler Abbas Afridi has been confirmed as his replacement. Meanwhile, Imad Wasim, one of the most seasoned Pakistan players in CPL history, will feature for the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons. With 64 matches across seven CPL seasons, Imad will play a pivotal role in the middle order.

Lastly, Hasan Khan has been signed by the Guyana Amazon Warriors. The talented spinner, who is reportedly relocating to the USA, adds further depth to the list of Pakistani stars lighting up this year’s CPL.

With these high-profile names, Pakistan’s presence is set to boost the tournament s appeal and competitiveness, offering fans a thrilling season of T20 cricket in the Caribbean.
