According to the ICC, Pakistan will host another ICC event after four years, with the 2028 Women’s T20 World Cup being assigned to Pakistan. The 2028 Women’s T20 World Cup will be the first ICC event of the next cycle, and the Pakistan-India fusion formula will also apply to this event, including knockout matches.

Additionally, both teams, despite hosting ICC events, will play matches at neutral venues until 2027, with the host board selecting the venue.
