As India refused to travel to Pakistan, the match is being played in Dubai. India have decided to rely on Harshit Rana after resting Arshadeep Singh and Varun Chakravarthy. Kuldeep Yadav is in the playing XI for India.

India are already in the United Arab Emirates for their matches in the 50-over tournament.

Bangladesh also skipped young pacer Nahid Rana and gave a chance to the left-arm pro Mustafizur Rahman in the crucial match.

Talking to reporters on Wednesday, skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto expressed confidence in Bangladesh’s ability to challenge any opponent, particularly highlighting their improved pace attack.

“I think we have always struggled with our seam attack, but in the last couple of years, we have developed some quality fast bowlers,” Shanto stated.
