The International Cricket Council (ICC) issued the Men’s T20 International ranking on Wednesday.
It shows that both stars could not deliver the stunning performance in the recent three-match T20I series against Australia and faced 3-0 whitewash defeat.
In the three-match series, for Pakistan, Usman Khan scored 59 runs and remained the sole batter to score a half-century.
Whereas, Babar made 47 runs, slipped one spot, to fifth, and Rizwan also dropped to sixth with one place drop.
On the other hand, Australia’s Travis maintained its position, retaining the top spot in the rankings. Phil Salt from England and India’s Tilak Varma ranked second and third respectively.
Pakistan’s bowler Haris Rauf secured 20th place in bowlers rankings due to his magical spells in the Australia series.
Hardik Pandya from India claimed his position as the top T20I all-rounder in the world. Tilak Varma secured a position among top 10 for batters on the latest with heavy jump.
Pandya overtook England’s Liam Livingstone and Nepal’s Dipendra Singh Airee at the top of the T20I. This marks his second stint as No. 1, following his success in the ICC Men s T20 World Cup.
