The tournament will be especially interesting for Pakistani fans as seven Pakistani stars will be in action.

These players include Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Asif Ali, Mohammad Amir, Iftikhar Ahmed, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Mohammad Nawaz.

Babar Azam, Asif Ali, Mohammad Amir, and Mohammad Rizwan will play for the Vancouver Knights. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Nawaz will represent Toronto Nationals while Iftikhar Ahmed will be part of Bangla Tigers Mississauga.

Besides Pakistan players, international cricketers including Mohammad Nabi, Sunil Narine, Shakib Al Hasan, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, David Wiese, Hazratullah Zazai, David Warner, and Carlos Brathwaite will also be part of the tournament and make it more interesting and competitive.

It is to be noted here that the first edition of Global T20 Canada was held in 2018 and was won by the Vancouver Knights. The second edition was won by the Winnipeg Hawks in 2019. The current defending champions are the Montreal Tigers, who won the title in 2023 by defeating the Vancouver Knights in the finals.

This tournament holds special significance for Pakistani fans. Other international cricketers make the tournament more interesting.
