KARACHI: (Web Desk) Afghanistan is set to face South Africa at National Bank Stadium in Karachi today (Friday), marking their debut in the ICC Champions Trophy.

As both teams fall in Group B, they have shown strong performances and achieved success in white-ball cricket. However, neither of them has won the title of a major ICC tournament.

South Africa came close last year, reaching the semi-finals of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, while Afghanistan made history by qualifying for the final four at the ICC men s T20 World Cup for the first time.
