South Africa rout Bangladesh in World Cup match
South Africa hammered Bangladesh by 149 runs in their World Cup match on Tuesday.
The match between the two teams was played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, India.
While batting first, South Africa posted 382-5 against Bangladesh. Quinton de Kock hit a brilliant 174, his third century of the World Cup.
Bangladesh collapsed to 58-5 in reply; however, Mahmudullah’s 111 delayed the finish.
But his knock didn’t really make a difference, for he didn’t find any suitable partner, and the Tigers were dismissed for 233 in the 47th over.
South Africa have now won four of their five World Cup matches.
Bangladesh, on the other hand, have suffered their fourth defeat in the tournament with the defeat from South Africa.
