Soldier martyred, three terrorists killed in IBOs

RAWALPINDI: (Suno News) A soldier was martyred in a mine blast while three terrorists were killed Tuesday in two intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted separately in Dera Ismail Khan and South Waziristan.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted an operation in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan and eliminated two terrorists during an exchange of fire.

Another terrorist was killed in an operation conducted separately in the Kot Azam area of South Waziristan.

A soldier named Shahzaib was martyred in a mine blast. He was 26 years old and belonged to Rawalpindi.

The dead terrorists had been involved in attacks on security forces.

“An operation is still underway to eliminate terrorists in the area,” the military’s media wing said.

“Sacrifices of our soldiers and officers strengthen our resolve,” it added.
