Shujaat welcomes Nawaz Sharif upon return to Pakistan

Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Saturday welcomed Nawaz Sharif upon his return to Pakistan.

The senior politician said that the country was in dire need of national unity in challenging times.

Shujaat stated that Nawaz Sharif would have to work hard to restore the national economy and eliminate unemployment and inflation in the country.

He also underlined the high expectations that the people of Pakistan have vested in Nawaz Sharif.

The PML-Q chief urged Nawaz Sharif to put aside past grievances, adding that he needed to employ his full potential to address the pressing issues faced by the people of the country.

“The responsibility to provide relief to the people and safeguard national interests is a shared commitment among all political leaders and parties,” he added.

Shujaat also stressed the need for a strong and stable economy, adding that the country currently needed a strong economy instead of politics of revenge.
