According to reports in the Indian media, Shah Rukh Khan had filed a written complaint with the state government that he was receiving threats to his life after the release of the films ‘Pathan’ and ‘Jawaan.’ In response to this, the Maharashtra government has increased Shah Rukh Khan’s security by providing him with VIP security.

Shah Rukh Khan will now have 6 personal security officers and 5 weapons with him 24/7 as part of the VIP security provided by Mumbai Police.

It should be noted that police had received confidential information that Shah Rukh Khan’s life was in danger. Recently, after the release of his films ‘Pathan’ and ‘Jawaan,’ Shah Rukh Khan has come under the radar of the underworld and gangsters. Prior to this, only two police officers were providing security to him. King Khan will bear the expenses of his VIP security himself, and he will have to pay this amount to the Maharashtra government.

It should be clear that last year, after receiving threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Bollywood actor Salman Khan was also provided VIP security. Shah Rukh Khan has been embroiled in conflicts with the Mumbai underworld for a while, and he is known to face threats from time to time.

Recently, film producer Sanjay Gupta praised ‘Jawaan’ on social media and also praised the determination to control challenges, including threats from Kang Khan’s gangsters.
