Rupee sheds 51 paise against dollar in interbank trading
KARACHI: (Suno News) The Pakistani rupee Wednesday registered a marginal decline against the US dollar in interbank trading.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the local currency depreciated by 0.18 percent and shedded 51 paise against the greenback to end the day at Rs286.90.

On Tuesday, the Pakistani rupee had depreciated by 0.38 percent to settle at Rs286.39 against the greenback.

It is to be noted here that Pakistan and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) are likely to initiate policy-level talks from November 13, 2023.
Caretaker Finance Minister Dr Shamshad Akhtar told the media, “I am optimistic about the success of talks with the IMF on the first review.”
“The talks are progressing positively as all the ministries and divisions have achieved the targets and their performance is satisfactory,” she added.
