Rupee continues solidifying gains against dollar in interbank market
KARACHI: (Suno News) The Pakistani rupee has managed to continue with its winning streak against the US dollar at the start of the interbank trading.
The greenback has lost 30 paise against the Pakistani rupee and is trading at Rs279.60.
It is also believed that the Pakistani rupee is further solidifying its gains against the US dollar after the receipt of a $700 million tranche from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
On Friday, the last trading day of the previous week, the US dollar closed at Rs279.90 in the interbank trading.
