Punjab govt to crack down on unregistered beauty parlours
LAHORE: (Web Desk) The Punjab government has decided to crack down on unregistered beauty parlours administering beauty injections to people.
The Punjab government says that it is set to tighten the noose around those beauty parlours that administer beauty injections to people.
“These beauty parlours play with people’s lives,” it has added.
The Punjab government has also issued instructions to the Healthcare Commission to prevent the use of unregistered beauty creams, vaccines and beauty medicines.
Punjab Primary Health Minister Dr Jamal Nasir says that according to the instructions issued to the Healthcare Commission, a list of beauty parlours using unregistered beauty creams and medicines will be made.
“Any parlour will be closed if it is not using the beauty creams approved by the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP),” it warned.
