PTI decides to make alliance with MWM, Jamaat-e-Islami
LAHORE: (Suno News) The Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to make political alliance with the Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) in the centre and Punjab, and with the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) in Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa province, announced PTI’s secretary information Rauf Hassan on Tuesday.
Talking to the media, the PTI office-bearer further quoted PTI Chairman Imran Khan as saying, “Seeking loans and financial assistance from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is not a solution to the national crises. And to steer the country out of crises, it is necessary to form a strong government.”
“Therefore,” he added, “The PTI has decided to form the government by making alliance with MWM in the centre and the Punjab province. And we will form government along with Jamaat-e-Islami in KP.”
Earlier, the PTI founder nominated Ali Amin Gandapur as the party candidate for the post of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
While talking informally to the media in Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi, the PTI founder said that Ali Amin Gandapur had been nominated as the candidate for the post of the KP chief minister. “There will be no talks with PML-N, PPP, and MQM,” he said.
