The Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued a fresh weather advisory, forecasting rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms in multiple parts of Pakistan over the coming days.
According to the PMD, most regions of the country are likely to experience cold and dry weather, while Islamabad may see strong winds. The advisory highlights shifting weather patterns that could bring intermittent rainfall to western and northern areas.
Rain and Thunderstorms Expected in Balochistan
Lower Balochistan is expected to receive rain with thunder and lightning. Cities and districts likely to be affected include Quetta, Chaman, Pishin, Muslim Bagh, Zhob, Ziarat, Barkhan, Sibi, Kalat, Kech, Panjgur, Washuk, Kharan, Khuzdar, and Gwadar. Residents are advised to remain cautious during thunderstorms and gusty winds.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Alert for Showers
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the PMD forecasts rain with strong winds and thunderstorms in several areas, including Waziristan, Lakki Marwat, Parachinar, Karak, and Bannu. Sporadic showers may briefly lower temperatures and affect local travel conditions.
Northern Areas and Sindh Outlook
The weather in Murree, Galiyat, and surrounding northern areas is expected to remain cold and dry. Meanwhile, coastal and western districts of Sindh are likely to see partly cloudy skies, with no widespread rainfall anticipated at this stage.
Authorities recommend staying updated with official advisories and taking necessary precautions, particularly in areas prone to strong winds and thunderstorms.
