According to the latest PMD weather forecast, cold and dry weather will prevail across most parts of the country over the next 24 hours. However, moderate to dense fog and smog are expected to continue in several low-lying and plain areas, particularly during night and early morning hours, posing risks for commuters and motorists.
Punjab Weather Update
In Punjab, cold and dry conditions will dominate, while dense fog and smog are likely to persist in major cities including Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, and Rahim Yar Khan. The PMD noted that fog intensity may increase during late-night and early-morning hours, significantly reducing visibility on roads and highways.
Hill stations such as Murree and Galiyat are expected to experience particularly cold weather, with chilly winds and low temperatures.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Forecast
The plains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will see cold and partly cloudy weather, while moderate to dense fog may develop during morning and night hours in Peshawar, Swabi, Mardan, Charsadda, Nowshera, and Dera Ismail Khan. Authorities have advised residents to exercise caution while traveling, especially during early hours.
Sindh Weather Conditions
In Sindh, dry weather will continue across most districts, with cold mornings and nights. The PMD forecast indicates that fog is likely to persist in Sukkur, Rohri, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Mohenjodaro, and nearby areas, affecting road traffic and visibility during nighttime and early morning.
Other Regions
Islamabad and surrounding areas are expected to experience cold and dry weather, while Balochistan will remain cold with partly cloudy skies in most districts.
In Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, the PMD has forecast very cold weather with partly cloudy conditions, especially in higher altitudes.
The PMD has urged citizens to stay updated with official weather advisories and take precautionary measures while traveling in fog-prone areas, particularly during late-night and early-morning hours.
