According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Karachi will experience hot and humid conditions today with partly cloudy skies, while there is a chance of light rain or thunderstorms in some areas by evening or night.
As per the PMD reports, the morning hours (6 AM to 10 AM) are expected to bring warm and sticky conditions, with temperatures sitting in the low 30s °C.
As the day progresses into the midday and afternoon (11 AM to 3 PM), the heat will intensify, with highs reaching around 35 to 37°C.
High humidity levels will make it feel even hotter and more uncomfortable. By evening (4 PM to 7 PM), cloud cover is expected to thicken, especially in some parts of the city and surrounding areas.
There is a chance of thunderstorms or light rain developing, particularly in the outskirts or low-lying regions. Winds may also pick up slightly. After 8 PM, the possibility of rainfall or thunderstorms increases, especially in scattered areas. Temperatures will drop a bit, but humidity will remain.

Looking ahead, the weekly forecast suggests that hot and humid conditions will continue across the city. Daytime highs are expected to stay in the mid- to high 30s °C.
PMD also indicates occasional rain or thunderstorms may occur during the evening or night in some areas.
Night temperatures will remain warm, with little relief due to persistent cloud cover. Compared to earlier this week, the overall conditions are similar, though increased chances of rain may offer some brief relief from the discomfort.
