KARACHI (Web Desk): Karachi weather today is expected from mild fog in the morning to scattered showers later, with temperatures ranging between 26°C and 29°C.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reports light fog and scattered showers this morning, with temperatures around 26°C (79°F).

According to weather forecast, intermittent rain and thunderstorms may continue until 11 AM, after which the sky will remain mostly cloudy with chances of light showers in the afternoon. Weather forecast notes the maximum temperature will rise to 29°C (85°F), while the minimum will hover near 25°C (77°F).

According to Weather forecast, the early hours from 6 AM to 11 AM are marked by fog, light showers, and occasional thunder, reducing visibility in several areas.

Moving into the afternoon between 12 PM and 5 PM, conditions are expected to remain mostly cloudy with the possibility of light rain in some localities.

As the day transitions into the evening and night after 6 PM, Karachi will likely face humid and partly cloudy conditions, with mild showers in scattered zones that may bring brief relief from the sticky weather.

From Thursday onward, conditions will gradually improve. Morning showers may occur tomorrow, followed by partly sunny skies.

Friday through Sunday, Karachi will see warmer weather (32°C highs, 26–27°C lows) with occasional cloudiness.

PMD confirmed the depression over the Arabian Sea is weakening and will likely dissipate by late Wednesday night or Thursday.

However, light to moderate showers remain likely in Karachi and nearby.

Due to recent downpours, the Sindh government declared schools closed in Karachi today, September 10.
