The figures were shared during a session chaired by Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq. Officials said the deportations happened for several reasons, including illegal residence, violation of visa rules, and involvement in criminal activities.
According to official data, 786 Pakistanis were deported from Bahrain, 163 from Kuwait, 2,537 from Oman, 27,692 from Saudi Arabia, 6,794 from the United Arab Emirates, and 644 from Qatar.
Saudi Arabia recorded the highest number of deportations, raising serious concerns about compliance with local laws by overseas workers and visitors.

Officials explained that many individuals were found staying beyond their visas or working without proper documents. Some were also accused of crimes in host countries.
Earlier, the National Assembly Standing Committee on Overseas Pakistanis was informed that thousands of Pakistanis were deported in 2025 over allegations of begging and immigration violations.
During a meeting chaired by MNA Rafiullah, the Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) briefed lawmakers about rising cases of deportation and offloading.
The DG FIA revealed that 51,000 Pakistanis were offloaded at airports in 2025 while trying to travel abroad. He said 24,000 Pakistanis were deported by Saudi Arabia on charges of begging.
Dubai also deported 6,000 Pakistani nationals on similar grounds, while Azerbaijan sent back around 2,000 Pakistani beggars.

Lawmakers were told that repeated deportations due to begging are damaging Pakistan’s reputation internationally.
The DG FIA further disclosed that some individuals try to travel to Europe under the cover of performing Umrah. Even when they carry travel documents, they are offloaded at airports if officials find discrepancies in their papers.
The rising numbers have sparked debate over better screening, awareness, and stricter monitoring before citizens leave the country for work or travel.
