PPP launches campaign to distribute sewing machines
PPP launches sewing machine distribution campaign, with over 33,000 machines to be given to deserving women for economic empowerment. PPP youth leader Rawal Sharjeel Memon formally launched the programme, under which 33,000 sewing machines will be provided to deserving women.
He said the initiative has been taken on the instructions of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as part of efforts to empower women economically.
The PPP leader described the programme as a major step towards creating employment opportunities and improving household incomes for women. He added that sewing machines will help women achieve financial independence and start earning from home-based work.

According to him, the initiative is especially focused on women in Hyderabad district, where new employment opportunities are being created. He said this is a significant project of the PPP aimed at supporting deserving women and helping them stand on their own feet.
Rawal Sharjeel Memon further stated that 33,000 sewing machines will be distributed across Hyderabad Rural Taluka to ensure fair access to the programme. The campaign is expected to improve self-employment opportunities and strengthen women’s role in the local economy.
