The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has introduced a special Ramazan relief package to support deserving families during the holy month of Ramazan. To ensure transparency and convenience, authorities have also launched a dedicated online portal where citizens can verify whether they qualify for the assistance.
According to official details, eligible individuals can check their status by visiting the government portal and entering their Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) number. The system instantly informs applicants whether they have been selected for the Ramazan relief package.
The portal was designed to make the process easier so citizens do not need to visit government offices and can verify their eligibility from home.
Financial Aid and Essential Food Items Included
Under the Ramazan package, thousands of low-income families across the province are expected to receive financial assistance and essential food supplies.
The program aims to ensure access to basic food items such as:
- Flour
- Sugar
- Cooking oil or ghee
- Other daily necessities
Officials say the initiative will help low-income households manage their expenses during Ramazan, when food consumption typically increases.

Transparent Selection Process for Beneficiaries
Authorities stated that beneficiaries were selected based on socioeconomic data and eligibility criteria to ensure that assistance reaches the most deserving families.
The introduction of the online verification system is intended to increase transparency and reduce errors or confusion regarding eligibility.
Citizens have been advised to rely only on the official government website for checking their eligibility and to avoid trusting unverified sources or fraudulent links.
Government’s Effort to Support Vulnerable Communities
The KP government described the Ramazan relief package as a key welfare initiative aimed at helping vulnerable communities during the holy month.
Officials emphasized that the program seeks to ensure that no family is deprived of basic necessities during Ramazan.
The government also encouraged citizens to inform relevant authorities if they know a deserving individual who has not been included in the list, so that their case can be reviewed.
By introducing an online system, officials believe the distribution of aid will become faster, more transparent, and more efficient.
