Air travel between Pakistan and Gulf countries is witnessing steady improvement amid ongoing talks between Iran and the United States, raising hopes for regional stability.
According to airport sources, flight operations to and from Gulf destinations including the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia have increased significantly. Airlines have expanded their schedules to accommodate growing passenger demand and improved operational conditions.
Sources revealed that after Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and the UAE also boosted their flight frequencies. More than 100 flights were recorded operating between these countries and Pakistan, reflecting a positive shift in aviation activity.
From Allama Iqbal International Airport, around 25 two-way flights were operated to Gulf destinations. Similarly, Karachi recorded 28 flights, Islamabad 18, Peshawar 8, Quetta 4, Multan 6, and Faisalabad 4 flights.

Aviation experts believe that improved diplomatic engagement in the region has contributed to smoother air operations. Passengers are also expected to benefit from better travel convenience and increased flight availability in the coming weeks.
The upward trend signals renewed confidence in regional connectivity, with airlines and travelers responding positively to easing tensions and improved coordination.
