Karachi (Web Desk): Pakistan receives a petrol tanker as the supply chain stabilizes, ensuring fuel availability as fresh shipments arrive amid regional tensions.

According to details, a vessel carrying petrol arrived from Jizan Port as part of regular shipments of petroleum and other goods. Officials say such arrivals are helping ease concerns about possible shortages.

Sources confirmed that the tanker MT Petazoli reached the port carrying 38,965 metric tons of motor oil. It is being berthed at the FOTCO terminal for unloading. Meanwhile, two coal vessels and one palm oil ship are also waiting at the outer anchorage.

Port officials stated that around 10 vessels were handled in the last 24 hours. At present, the port is managing two container ships, five bulk cargo vessels, and three ships carrying petroleum products.

Cargo data shows that a total of 168,850 metric tons were handled, including 136,936 metric tons of imports and 31,914 metric tons of exports. This reflects steady port activity despite regional challenges.

In the past 24 hours, eight ships arrived at the port, while two departed. Authorities also expect three more vessels to leave soon, indicating smooth port operations.

Officials said all arrangements are in place to ensure timely cargo handling and avoid delays. Maritime experts believe that the continuous arrival of oil shipments will help stabilize the supply chain and prevent fuel shortages.

Analysts added that these timely imports will support refinery operations and keep petroleum products flowing smoothly in the market, reducing supply pressure.
