Lahore (Web Desk): The Punjab government has upgraded the Maryam Nawaz Mazdoor Card, allowing eligible laborers to withdraw up to Rs10,000 in cash, easing financial stress.

Previously, the Maryam Nawaz Mazdoor Card could only be used to buy rationed food items at discounted rates.

Now, laborers can withdraw cash from designated shops without needing a bank or ATM, making it easier to cover daily expenses.

Officials stated that millions of workers across Punjab will benefit from the Maryam Nawaz Mazdoor Card cash facility, which is seen as a crucial step to provide immediate financial support.

This new facility strengthens the Maryam Nawaz Mazdoor Card system by offering both ration and cash benefits, reducing economic pressure and improving access to government welfare programs.
