(Web Desk): Cape Town ranks first among the world’s most stressful cities, followed by New Delhi due to crime, pollution, and overcrowding.

Cape Town in South Africa has been ranked the world’s most stressful city for tourists, while India’s capital New Delhi secured the second position, according to a new international study.

The research was conducted by experts associated with UK-based companies SCS Chauffeur and House Fresh. The study examined major global cities to determine which destinations cause the most stress for tourists. Factors included crime rates, pollution levels, overcrowding, and traffic congestion, all of which can negatively affect travel experiences.

According to the findings, Cape Town ranked first due to high levels of criminal activity and the presence of organized crime groups. Tourists visiting the city often face safety concerns, which significantly impacts their comfort and overall experience.

New Delhi ranked second mainly due to its severe air pollution, which makes breathing difficult for visitors. The report also highlighted issues such as overcrowding, traffic congestion, and various crimes, making travel challenging and stressful for tourists.

Johannesburg ranked third, followed by Zurich, Sao Paulo, Jakarta, and Kuala Lumpur. Mexico City, Athens, and Naples were also included among the world’s most stressful cities for tourists.

Experts said that while these cities remain popular travel destinations, the identified factors can create difficulties for visitors and affect tourism satisfaction. The study aims to raise awareness among travelers and encourage authorities to improve safety, traffic management, and environmental conditions.

Despite these challenges, many tourists continue to visit these cities for their culture, history, and attractions.
