Taxila man hangs himself to death after failure to pay inflated electricity bill

TAXILA: (Web Desk) A man, who was the father of two children, committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan after failing to pay an inflated electricity bill in Dhok Saidoo area in the jurisdiction of Taxila police station.
Family sources said that Malik Tahir had been unemployed for four months, and he was worried that he could not pay the electricity bill on the due date.
An argument occurred between him and his brothers over the payment of the electricity bill after which he locked himself in the room and committed suicide.
After the post-mortem, the police handed over the body to the family and started further investigations.
