Govt announces public holiday on Rabiul Awwal 12

ISLAMABAD: (Suno News) The federal government has announced a public holiday on the 12th of Rabiul Awwal across the country.
A notification issued by the federal government said September 17 will be a public holiday across the country.

It is to be noted here that a few days ago, a meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee was held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of Ruet-e-Hilal Zonal Committee Islamabad, SUPARCO, the Department of Meteorology, and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Later, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad announced during a press conference that the 12th Rabiul Awwal will be held on September 17, Tuesday.
