
A video is going viral on social media, showing a couple who had entered into a love marriage being taken to the mountains by more than 20 armed men and brutally murdered.
Balochistan government spokesman Shahid Rind said that one person seen in the video has been arrested and the rest will be arrested soon. The tribes and individuals have been identified, but as a matter of strategy, they are not revealing their identities. Many things cannot be disclosed, and the investigation will be taken to its logical conclusion.
He said that the body recovery phase is still ongoing. Legal action will be taken against the killers or those who organized the jirga. FIRs are being registered based on what has come to light, and raids are being conducted to make more arrests.

The Chief Minister of Balochistan took notice of it. The area has been identified. According to initial information, the incident occurred during Eidul Azha. Both families did not report the incident. The state is reporting the case in its complaint.
Shahid Rind said that no kind of pressure will be tolerated, the data of all the people seen in the video have been given to NADRA, and the accused will be brought to justice.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz said in a message posted on the social media website X (Formerly Twitter) that he had taken immediate notice of the viral video of the murder of a woman and a man on social media yesterday and had issued orders to the Balochistan Police to take action.
He said that the victims seen in the video have been identified, the incident took place a few days before Eid, a terrorism case has been registered on behalf of the state and a suspected murderer has been arrested, and the law will take its course in this heinous matter.
On the other hand, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed regret over the incident and said that the criminals involved in this murder are beasts and do not deserve any concessions. He hoped that the criminals involved in this murder would soon be brought to justice.
Bilawal Bhutto said that this murder should be a test case for the Balochistan government, this is gender terrorism, Islam allows women to marry of their choice and the Constitution of Pakistan guarantees the protection of this right.
The PPP Chairman further said that the manifesto of the PPP states that our policy on violence and discrimination against women will always be zero tolerance.
