Federal Minister for Energy, Sardar Owais Ahmad Khan Leghari, has issued directives ensuring public access to energy sector data, marking a significant step toward transparency and accountability.

The minister emphasized that providing accurate and verified data to the public, researchers, energy experts, and students will enable constructive feedback and informed recommendations for improving Pakistan’s power sector.

Sardar Owais Leghari highlighted that transparency in energy data is crucial for evidence-based discussions and effective reforms. The energy minister also reiterated the government’s commitment to data-driven decision-making, stating that broader availability of energy data will promote innovation, research, and long-term planning within Pakistan’s power sector. This initiative is expected to support policy improvements, strategic planning, and public engagement in energy management.
