The Party leaders claim the Governor's House in Karachi is being used for political purposes instead of constitutional duties. Labour Minister Saeed Ghani said Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif should appoint a new governor as previously promised. He said the appointment could be from the prime minister’s own party or from the PPP.
Ghani warned that the current use of the Governor's House Karachi is not just a provincial issue but could affect the federation as well. He alleged that some federal ministers tried to provoke people while speaking at the Governor's House.
He also expressed concern about the return of linguistic politics, calling it dangerous and harmful for unity.

Provincial Minister Sharjeel Memon also criticized what he described as partisan speeches at the Governor's House. He said such actions are unacceptable and damage political harmony.
“Karachi has already witnessed such an environment and cannot tolerate it further,” Memon said.
He described a recent event at the Governor's House as an extreme show of bias. He stressed that Sindh has always remained united and will continue to stand together.
Memon also referred to reported tensions within MQM, claiming that one member feared another and that a sergeant had to intervene to control the situation.
