During the inauguration, railway officials offered prayers for the progress of Pakistan Railways and decorated the train with colorful garlands. Senior officials inspected the coaches and spoke with passengers to gather feedback about facilities.

The Narowal Passenger Train departed Lahore Railway Station on time at 7:15 am. It travels through Badami Bagh, Shahdara Bagh, Kala Khatai, Narang, Baddomalhi, Raya Khas, and Pejowali before reaching Narowal at 10:05 am.
On the return journey, the train leaves Narowal at 5:00 pm and arrives back in Lahore at 7:40 pm, stopping at the same stations along the way.
Pakistan Railways has set the total travel time between Lahore and Narowal at two hours and 40 minutes to make the journey easier for passengers.

The upgraded train includes improved cleanliness, better lighting, and enhanced travel facilities. The service runs with 10 passenger coaches to accommodate more travelers comfortably.
