The Punjab government has issued an official notification detailing the updated administrative structure of the province, including divisions, districts, and tehsils. The latest announcement introduces Kot Addu District and Chowk Sarwar Shaheed Tehsil, expanding the province’s governance framework.
Punjab now comprises 10 divisions, 41 districts, and 156 tehsils, aiming to streamline administration and boost regional development. The notification provides clarity on jurisdictional boundaries and governance responsibilities across the province.

1- Lahore Division: 4 districts — Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib with 22 tehsils
2- Gujranwala Division: 3 districts — Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal with 11 tehsils
3- Gujrat Division: 4 districts — Gujrat, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Wazirabad with 12 tehsils
4- Rawalpindi Division: 6 districts — Rawalpindi, Murree, Chakwal, Attock, Jhelum, Talagang with 24 tehsils
5- Multan Division: 4 districts — Multan, Lodhran, Vehari, Khanewal with 14 tehsils
6- Sahiwal Division: 3 districts — Sahiwal, Pakpattan, Okara with 7 tehsils
7- Bahawalpur Division: 3 districts — Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan with 15 tehsils
8- Dera Ghazi Khan Division: 6 districts — Dera Ghazi Khan, Taunsa, Rajanpur, Layyah, Muzaffargarh, Kot Addu with 16 tehsils
9- Faisalabad Division: 4 districts — Faisalabad, Jhang, Chiniot, Toba Tek Singh with 17 tehsils
